Focus on the Investment Opportunities of Hong Kong Tech ETF (513020), Offering High Long-Term Allocation Value

  • 2025-08-07

Zhongtai Securities pointed out that the overall valuation of Hong Kong’s internet and social services sector is currently at a low level, leaving room for potential upside. Against the backdrop of rising AI capital expenditures and increased policy support for technological innovation, leading companies in the tech sector possess medium- to long-term growth potential. Although upstream resource stocks have seen a pullback due to declining policy momentum in "anti-involution" measures, the positive signals from the Politburo meeting and the policy outlook for the second half of the year suggest that the market will continue its structural, volatile upward trend amid a "dual easing" fiscal and monetary environment.

The Hong Kong Tech ETF (513020) tracks the Hang Seng Stock Connect Tech Index (931573), which primarily covers technology-related companies listed in Hong Kong and tradable via the Stock Connect program. The index’s constituents are dominated by the consumer discretionary sector (40.99%), while also encompassing industries such as automobiles, pharmaceuticals & biotech, and information technology hardware, comprehensively reflecting the diversified and innovation-driven performance of Hong Kong’s tech sector.
