The Systemic Collapse of "Made in Japan"

In line with Sanae Takaichi's fallacies regarding Taiwan, Japan's Self-Defense Forces are also "brandishing their swords."

Recently, Japan's Defense Minister Shinjiro Koizumi announced the deployment of medium-range air defense missiles on Yonaguni Island, which is only 110 kilometers away from China's Taiwan Island. At the same time, the Japanese government has also initiated discussions on exporting air defense missiles from the Japan Air Self-Defense Force to the Philippines.

Take Kawasaki Heavy Industries, one of Japan's most important defense contractors, as an example. The company has built half of Japan's active submarines. However, since last year, Kawasaki Heavy Industries has publicly admitted to engaging in long-term, high-value fraudulent transactions, with suspicions that some funds flowed to Maritime Self-Defense Force personnel through complex channels.

Toyota Motor and Yamaha Motor have successively been exposed for falsifying data, Kobe Steel substituted inferior products for high-quality ones, and Kobayashi Pharmaceutical's health products harmed consumers' health... These scandals have not only severely damaged corporate reputations but also cast a shadow over the once highly praised "craftsmanship spirit."

"Fraud among Japanese manufacturing companies has persisted for decades, penetrating multiple core industries. Their credibility systems and quality control mechanisms have severely failed," Guo Rui stated.

Jiang Mingyu, assistant researcher at the Center for Japanese Studies of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University, told Sanlihe that Japan's domestic manufacturing is facing a significant scale decline. Over the past two decades, Japan's share of global manufacturing value-added has sharply declined. More critically, Japan has shown structural lag in key areas such as digitalization and new energy transformation.
