On the morning of August 8, the three major indices of the A-share market showed mixed performance. As of press time, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.01%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.01%, and the ChiNext Index gained 0.05%.

By sector, commercial aerospace concept stocks continued their strong performance, the brain-computer interface sector fluctuated higher, while power generation equipment, gas, and precious metals led the gains. AI application-related sectors collectively declined, with intelligent agents, internet, and software sectors adjusting.

In Hong Kong, all three major indices fell, with SMIC and Kingdee International dropping over 4%.

Commercial Aerospace Concept Stocks Remain Strong

Commercial aerospace concept stocks maintained their strength, with Aerospace Intelligent Equipment (300455) hitting the 20% limit-up, Shanghai Hugong (603131), and Aerospace Hi-Tech (000901) also reaching limit-up. Aerospace Huanyu, Aerospace Changfeng (600855), and Landun Photoelectron (300862) followed the upward trend.

The news driving this surge: the China Manned Space Engineering Office announced that on August 6, 2025, the comprehensive landing and takeoff verification test for the Lanyue lunar lander was successfully completed at the Extraterrestrial Landing Test Site in Huailai County, Hebei Province.

Additionally, defense stocks fluctuated higher, with Optoelectronic (600184), Aerospace Hi-Tech, and Sinomach Precision (002046) among those hitting limit-up.

Brain-Computer Interface Sector Rises

The brain-computer interface sector climbed, with Sinomedical (stock code not provided) surging 20% to limit-up, while Innovation Medical (002173) and Optoelectronic also reached limit-up.

The catalyst: the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting Innovative Development of the Brain-Computer Interface Industry" issued by seven departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, outlined a two-phase development target for 2027 and 2030, identified five key tasks, and detailed 17 specific measures to further advance the high-quality development of the industry and accelerate the cultivation of new future industrial tracks.

Kaiyuan Securities noted that brain-computer interface technology offers diverse pathways and is in a period of rapid transformation. Technological advancements in the mid-to-upstream supply chain are driving breakthroughs in downstream applications, and domestic brain-computer interface companies are expected to gradually achieve commercial applications, with the market scale projected to expand rapidly.
