Construction Materials ETF (159745) Rises Over 1.2%, Cement Industry May Stabilize Under "Anti-Involution" Support

On August 11, the Construction Materials ETF (159745) rose over 1.2%.

TF Securities pointed out that the Politburo meeting of the CPC Central Committee emphasized the "stabilizing growth" stance and proposed an "anti-involution" governance framework, which positively impacts the cement industry. In the short term, the cement industry has a solid collaborative foundation and demand support, potentially leading to more noticeable price recovery effects. In the medium to long term, a combination of "market + administrative + legal" measures is expected to drive capacity governance. Cement prices are projected to stabilize with fluctuations in the near term, as the industry approaches the bottom of its cycle. Subsequent improvements in infrastructure and real estate demand are anticipated to drive fundamental recovery, while medium- to long-term supply structures may continue to optimize.

The Construction Materials ETF (159745) tracks the Construction Materials Index (931009), which selects listed securities in the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets involved in cement, glass, ceramics, and other building material manufacturing businesses as index components to reflect the overall performance of related listed companies in the sector. The index constituents exhibit both cyclical and growth characteristics, with industry allocations primarily concentrated in infrastructure and real estate-related fields.
