Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun Holds Talks with Cuban Vice Prime Minister Martínez
According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, on September 8, Minister Yin Hejun held talks with Cuban Vice Prime Minister Eduardo Martínez Díaz in Beijing.
Yin Hejun expressed gratitude for Vice Prime Minister Martínez’s emphasis on and support for sci-tech cooperation between the two countries. Yin Hejun stated that under the guidance of the heads of state of both countries, China-Cuba scientific and technological cooperation has yielded fruitful results. In the future, China is willing to work with Cuba to continue leveraging the role of intergovernmental sci-tech cooperation mechanisms, support joint research, jointly build cooperation platforms, strengthen people-to-people exchanges, promote bilateral sci-tech innovation cooperation to new heights, and make greater contributions to accelerating the construction of a China-Cuba community with a shared future.
Martínez stated that Cuba highly values cooperation with China in the field of science and technology and looks forward to further deepening bilateral and multilateral sci-tech innovation cooperation on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations, jointly addressing common challenges, and better benefiting the people of both countries.
