On October 31, the three major A-share indices collectively adjusted in the morning session. The Shanghai Composite Index experienced volatile declines, while the Shenzhen Component Index and the ChiNext Index briefly turned positive. As of 11:15, the CSI A500 Index had fallen by approximately 0.6%. Component stocks such as Semcorp, Dynanonic, Capchem, and Jiangsu Guotai surged significantly, while Ecovacs, Shenghong Technology, and Avary Technology led the declines. The E Fund A500ETF (159361), which tracks this index, recorded a turnover of over RMB 2.5 billion at this time.

Notably, interest in adding positions remained strong. Wind data showed that during the day, the net subscription shares of this product had already exceeded 100 million. As of the previous day, its cumulative net inflow for the week reached RMB 930 million.

Institutions believe that the market is expected to maintain overall strength in the fourth quarter, but sector styles may further diverge, with potential periodic style rotations. Themes that saw significant gains earlier may face tests of performance verification or replacement by new themes, necessitating selective optimization to prevent risks of sharp pullbacks.

Data shows that the CSI A500 Index consists of 500 stocks with large market capitalizations and good liquidity across various sectors. Through "sector-based selection + free-float market capitalization sampling," it optimizes sector balance, covering the vast majority of CSI tertiary industries while giving higher weight to emerging industries such as information technology and healthcare. This achieves dual-driven dynamics of "core assets" and "new quality productive forces." The management fee for the E Fund A500ETF (159361) is only 0.15% per year, helping investors to allocate to A-share core assets at a low cost.
