
MOFCOM: To Host Ten Major Themed Activities Centering on "Sharing the Vast Market • Exporting to China", Continuously Enriching the "Exporting to China" Brand Connotation
According to the Ministry of Commerce website, on November 4th, the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) successfully held the launch ceremony for the "Sharing the Vast Market • Exporting to China" series of activities at the World Meeting Lounge in Shanghai. Premier Li Qiang attended and announced the launch. Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao attended and delivered a speech. Chen Jining, Wu Zhenglong, and others were present at the event.
In his speech, Wang Wentao stated that hosting the "Sharing the Vast Market • Exporting to China" series is a practical measure by China to actively expand its independent opening-up and promote balanced development of imports and exports; an innovative move for China to share the opportunities of its vast market with the world and create a new situation of win-win cooperation; and a proactive undertaking by China to support economic globalization and uphold the multilateral trading system.
Wang Wentao said that MOFCOM will organize ten major themed activities centering on "Sharing the Vast Market • Exporting to China". The focus will be on continuously expanding the circle of friends, allowing China's opportunities to "Benefit the Globe"; multi-dimensionally establishing connection channels to enable more goods to "Enter Smoothly"; meticulously creating consumption scenarios to ensure high-quality goods "Sell Well"; and summarizing and evaluating the activity outcomes to make "Exporting to China" "Sustainable in the Long Run". This will continuously enrich the "Exporting to China" brand connotation, making China the preferred export destination and development dynamo for more countries.
Luca de Meo, CEO of France's Kering Group, Craig Allen, President of the US-China Business Council, and Tetsuro Honma, Chairman of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, delivered speeches successively. They expressed that currently, the global business community is seeking more stability, predictability, and cooperation opportunities.
