CICC Wealth Management Welcomes New Chairman

On November 5, CICC Wealth Management announced the appointment of Chen Liang as Chairman, effective November 3, 2025.

It is understood that the former Chairman of CICC Wealth Management, Gao Tao, retired upon reaching retirement age in April this year. The current Chairman of CICC, Chen Liang, now concurrently serving as Chairman of CICC Wealth Management, reflects the shareholders' recognition of his management capabilities.

Chen Liang is a veteran in the securities industry. He previously held positions including Deputy General Manager of Hongyuan Securities Co., Ltd., Chairman of Hongyuan Futures Co., Ltd., Party Committee Member of Shenwan Hongyuan Group Co., Ltd. and Shenwan Hongyuan Securities Co., Ltd., General Manager of Shenwan Hongyuan Group Co., Ltd., Executive Director of Shenwan Hongyuan Western Securities Co., Ltd., Party Committee Secretary of Shenwan Hongyuan Western Securities Co., Ltd., and President, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd.

According to CICC's interim report, as of June 30, 2025, CICC Wealth Management's total assets were RMB 193.37 billion, and its net assets were RMB 20.2 billion. In the first half of 2025, it achieved operating revenue of RMB 3.821 billion, operating profit of RMB 1.302 billion, and net profit of RMB 9.88 million.

After six years of dedicated practice, CICC Wealth Management's buyer-driven investment advisory assets under management surpassed the RMB 100 billion mark in July this year and recently exceeded RMB 120 billion again. "China 50," a representative product of CICC Wealth Management's buyer-driven investment advisory service model, has cumulatively generated over RMB 10.1 billion in returns for clients since its launch in 2019.

In recent years, CICC Wealth Management has continuously deepened and expanded the connotation of buyer-driven investment advisory. Guided by a buyer mindset, it actively promotes the transformation of trading business towards a customer-centric model, committed to providing clients with more professional and accompanying services. To date, CICC Wealth Management's 5 major categories encompassing 19 innovative trading services have cumulatively served over 400,000 client visits, with contracted assets exceeding RMB 220 billion.
