Musk’s Shocking Prediction: AI Will End U.S. “Debt Crisis” Within Three Years!

　　Over the past weekend, the world’s richest person, Elon Musk, once again shared a startling new perspective: artificial intelligence (AI) will end the United States’ intensifying “debt crisis” within three years.

　　In a podcast aired last Sunday, Musk stated that there is only one solution to the U.S. debt problem: artificial intelligence.

　　“The only way out of America’s deepening fiscal hole is productivity (increase) driven by AI and robotics. This is almost the only way to solve the U.S. debt crisis, but it could lead to severe deflation,” he added.

　　According to data from the U.S. Treasury Department, as of November 26, U.S. national debt reached $38.34 trillion, more than double what it was a decade ago.

　　Musk further noted that AI has not yet increased productivity enough to drive economic output growth faster than inflation, but this is about to change.

　　Musk also stated that advances in AI and robotics will make work an “option” rather than a “necessity” in the future, and this could happen within the next two decades. He described this outcome as “universal high income,” a world where “productivity is so high, and goods and services are so abundant, that people don’t have to work to meet their basic needs.”

　　Over the past few weeks, Musk has outlined his views on how AI will reshape the global economy on several occasions. For example, at last month’s Tesla shareholder meeting, he stated that its Optimus robot could eliminate poverty and the need for human labor.
