The trading hours for the FTSE China A50 Index are from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, for the settlement period. The T+1 settlement period runs from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM the next day, Monday to Friday. For expiring contracts, the final trading period is from 9:00 AM to 4:35 PM. The FTSE China A50 Index has a circuit breaker mechanism for upward and downward movements. Initially, the trading halt is triggered at 10%. Once the limit is hit, trading is only allowed within a 10% range for the next 10 minutes.

After the 10-minute period ends, the trading halt range expands to 15%. If the limit is hit again, trading is only allowed after a 10-minute cooling-off period, after which the upward and downward trading halts are lifted for the remainder of the day. The final trading period for the FTSE China A50 Index is typically the second-to-last trading day of the contract's expiration month.

Futures trading ends on the second-to-last trading day of the contract's expiration. The day when futures trading concludes is considered the last trading day of the contract's expiration month. If the last trading day is not a Chinese trading day, the last trading date will be the previous business day. If, during or after trading on the day before the second-to-last trading day of a normal trading day, the contract month's expected normal trading days are the last and second-to-last Chinese trading days. If these two days are not Chinese trading days, the final trading day will be the next trading day after NPTD.

If, during or after trading on the day before NPTD, the preceding two days will be the second-to-last and final trading periods, provided these two days are not Chinese trading days in the contract month.
